Almost back!!! 5/12/14

Hi Everyone!!!

Hope that all of you mothers out there had a super awesome mothers day! I know that I most definitely did as well!!!!!!! I got to talk to my family & honestly there is nothing better! I have honestly come to the realization on my mission of how seriously, nothing else in the whole wide world matters other than your family. When it's my time to go home all I want to do is go spend time with all my beautifulll sisters and parents & make tons of memories! There really isn't anything better. I now understand why my parents would always yell at me for choosing to spend time with my friends over going to family functions with them. I am so grateful for the way they raised me & for caring about me enough to help me see the bigger picture in life. I have the strongest testimony of that every single thing that happened to me in my life has prepared me to accept this Gospel and to share it boldly and strongly with others. Families are SO important!!!!! & I love you Janel, Lisseth, & Vannesa!! & Mom & dad!!!! <3 <3 <3 My heart felt sooo filled last night after we talked. Yall are the bestttt.

This week has been kind of weird for me. It has been going by slow yet really fast at the same time. This letter might be a little bit short.. but last Monday I got to go to one of the young woman's induction things at her Junior High. Her name is Shelldeen. So she was vice president of her schools National Junior Honors Society. So, I mention this because it was so awesome being in a school where they played this Christian song that talked about Jesus as all the students were walking in. Then before it all started they did a PRAYER! :D It just made me so happy. I know that very isn't common in many other places in the US, but down in the south it totally is normal.

I also found out that my cute little twin, Alisson's, mom is letting her go to girls camp this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh that was my highlight for the whole weeeeek!!!!! I am so excited for her and we had just the best conversation before hand. So the situation with Alisson is that her mom was baptized and then stopped going to church and her dad is catholic and was never baptized. Anyways, she is going to a different church right now but she really loves the gospel and totally believes the Book of Mormon is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet called to restore the original Christian church. She had a date to be baptized when she was younger but her dad told her no and so she has to wait. She told me all about how she wants to be baptized still though - but she's just waiting until shes a little older. So you can only imagine why this is such a big deal to me! She is going to have so much fun at camp - & the spirit that one feels there is absolutely incredible! I'm such a happy camper!
:D

Well, thats all for this week. Until next time!! I'll be back in Temple Square! Sooooo weird. I'm way nervous excited!. Pray for meeee! I leave on Wednesday. So nervous. so happy. so everything!!!!!!

Love you all.

Love,
Sister Corina Selene Cuevas
