Sorry.... I accidentally sent it without finishing.. haha here is the complete one.
Hellllooo everyone!!!
Super super exciting and wonderful week.
Update on my life in the beehive house and on training. Both are going very well! I feel like Heavenly Father realized I still haven't fully learned the importance of patience.. haha. Really! Its slightly hard for me not to be out on temple square finding people to talk to and teach. I have to be patient and wait for them to walk into the beehive house. :) haha & also, my companion has been feeling sick very frequently lately. It takes up from any time we have to be on the square when we do have time. So, I've realized I just and giving it my best to the Lord. We had a "Finish Strong" meeting for all of the departing sisters. It just feels so unrealistic. No matter what, I am going to make sure that in my last 4 weeks, I am going to be the missionary I've wanted to be my whole mission. :) I've asked that from my Father in Heaven.
The other day I had a really neat experience in the beehive house. So, in the back room we rotate sisters sitting on desk and taking tours.. So there is a total of 4 companionship there are any one time. So, as we were waiting in back, all of a sudden, Sister Ordal from England/Norway pulled up the church video I'm in. "True Confidence" :) & all the sisters gathered around to watch it and they were so amazed, it was the cutest thing. hahaha. But afterwards, the most humbling part is that Sister Quidiman (my companion from Chile) and Sister An (from Taiwan) both are crying. Sister An told me she had no idea that was me but that she remembers the exact place where she was at and the feelings that came over her as she watched the video. She couldn't believe it was me. & then sister Quidiman told me that she was really struggling with her self-confidence at that point in her life and when she watched it in young women she said it really changed the way that she felt about herself and saw herself. She told me that she was just amazed that my testimony touched her life even before we were companions. It very very humbling for me because I know that my words were obviously not my own, but they really did belong to my father in heaven. & to think that that video is when i was 18 years old -- crazy thought!!
Most awesome miracle of this week though.. are you ready for it?
Okay, so back on September 7th (while i was still with sister diaz) we met these 2 guys from Louisiana who were about to leave (in their early 20s) but of course i was way excited to talk to them because I am a partial Louisianaian now. :) And so long story short, I asked them why they were leaving without book of mormons (which I usually don't everrrr say.. hahaha) & they said they had talked to multiple sisters but none of them offered them one. of course i told them we would change that and took them both in and got them ones, taught a little about it, got their information and set up return appointments and left. So it was honestly the hardest thing to get in touch with them, about 2 months I hadn't and then FINALLY, Brian, answered one of my text messages. We set up a time to call him and and an increddiblleee discussion, (he lost his BoM) so i told him to download it and gave him the same 3 chapters I had given him from the beginning to read. So a day goes by and he texts us at 11:45pm. so then what happened? Honestly, a HUGE answer to prayer I feel. Like, honestly, the Lord really does listen to the desires of our hearts and will grant them to us if we live worthy of them. I woke up that next morning to read his text messages that said
"sorry i know its late and i hope i don't wake you but i just read all 3 chapters, and i must say i haven't felt the presence of god in my heart like that in a very very long time. it was an amazing feeling. especially in alma verse 17-20. thank you so much. good night"
I just couldn't help but have an incredibly big smile on my face for the whole rest of that day. I was just amazed at the power the Book of Mormon has in peoples lives who open their heart enough to read it. I called him the following day and he said when he first started reading, he didn't understand a THING it was saying. So he did as we asked him to and got on his knees to pray and ask God for understanding. He said he started reading again and it started making more and more sense to him, he read the 1st chapter we left him with (2 Nephi 31) and then went to 3 Nephi 11 and he said at that point he started to get a really warm feeling inside of him, then he said when he started reading Alma 36 that he started tearing up because he felt what he told us in the text - God in his HEART - ♥ He told me that he knows God needs to make more of his life than he has been and that his first time praying on his knees was with me on the first time we talked again. I just must say, I know the Lord is guiding and directing this work. And I hope he continues to use me until the very last day that I am here. He is moving to Texas next week and wants to meet with missionaries the moment he gets back to prepare himself for baptism on December 13th. My joy is full!Hellllooo everyone!!!

& Well, that is really all I have left of what I want to share. He is incredible & so I have a strong testimony that persistence pays off.
I know most definitely that Gods hand is in every single one of our lives. If we only submit ourselves to him, he will truly truly help us FEEL him. ♥ I love this gospel & I know that it is true. I know the Book of Mormon changes lives - It has changed mine and I hope it will change the lives of everyone I come in contact with for the rest of eternity.
I'll leave you with one last quote from him..
"Me:How would you feel to know we have a living Moses, a living prophet, on the earth again today?
Brian: Well, it makes me smile. I'm not sure how it makes me feel though. I never thought it would be possible" ♥♥♥
