Double P-days!!! :D 8/6/14

Hi Everyone!!

So, I don't have too much to say from two days ago when I last wrote you.. :) haha... but I would like to share how GRATEFUL I am to know and take comfort in that you are all praying for me. i am so thankful because these past two days my back has been doing so much better. Yesterday I didn't even take medicine until 5:45 because that is when it started to hurt again. & Today I have yet to take medicine again (though its a bit more achy..) but I'm so thankful because I know that God has been hearing our prayers and he will heal me if it is his will :D Thank you again for everything!!!
Yesterday was my last official day in the Humanitarian Center & I got to see my recent convert family - the Hernandez's & also Sister Nielsen & fam!! Made my entire day. We have LOVED the yummyness of food they brought us:D Thank you so much!! ♥♥♥ I attached a picture of all of us in the Humanitarian Center. Which, by the way.. this is the film that we show everyone who takes a tour in the HC. Please watch it!! Click Here
I also added a picture from Pioneer Day. This was a super cute float that they had :D
We had a pretty neat experience the other day in taking around these 2 ladies from Los Angeles. The mom was absolutely adorable and the daughter was really sweet. They were both from Mexico and not very religious, but pretty spiritual. It was really awesome to be able to experience and be a part of taking them around because when we shared with them the presentation on the family, we explained how families can be united eternally and it was the most precious experience to be able to tell this woman she would see her parents again one day. SHE HAD NO IDEA! & It was so special for me to be able to explain how that was possible. She said "En serio?! No lo sabia! Eso es muy grande. Entonces, voy a poder volver a ver a mis padres??" Something I feel I have totally taken advantage of my whole life, thinking I will see my family again - she really did not know. & More to think she could be SEALED with them for eternity... it meant the world to her. So, for us it was really special. She was really scared of death, but she told us after we told her that it gave her so much HOPE.
Wow, nothing more special that that. It was totally a highlight FOR SURE ♥
Here's a scripture for that:
4 Wherefore, whoso believeth in God might with surety hope for a better world, yea, even a place at the right hand of God, which hope cometh of faith, maketh an anchor to the souls of men, which would make them sure and steadfast, always abounding in good works, being led to glorify God.
Well, love you all so much! Please keep the prayers coming & I will talk to you next wednesday!!!

Love love love,
Sister Corina Selene Cuevas
