Holaaa! ♥♥♥
My favorite time of p-day! I love writing you all and sharing my wonderful adventures on Temple Square with you. This week has been so so soo much fun. But first and foremost.. was anyone able to go see Meet the Mormons?! Please tell me your thoughts!!To start off, I was asked to take around a VIP tour for the church of 20+ Lawyers/Delegates from Latino America & Spain (very very very well dressed) in the Humanitarian Center (we drove there specifically for the tour). It was SOOO awesome (nerve-wracking as always) but definitely a memorable experience. I was able to translate this 12 minute video for them of what the church does world-wide (I believe I put it on my emails at one point too..) and they were sooo extremely grateful. Might I add, I definitely was able to throw some key doctrinal points into it as well. :D Hurray for missionary work. At the end this super nice man from Guatemala gave me this adorable hand-made bag from Guatemala. I totally forgot to take a picture with it.. but then after that they came to temple square and took a tour from some other latina sisters. This particular sister -- I LOVE HER TO PIECES -- connected with him so well that he ended up giving her his information. Mind you, we were not allowed to invite them to learn more bc they are VIP for the church... but he asked her about the book of mormon, told her he was so impressed with what the church does, and asked if she could teach him more. We were soo excited!!! Totally a highlight.
Another pretty big event that took place was that yesterday evening we had a mission fireside (which is basically a spiritual devotional) at Temple Square EXCLUSIVE to the sister missionaries. David Archuleta came and serenaded us for a bit with some of the songs he sang for Meet the Mormons. He also did a Q&A with us which was so extremely uplifting. We got to meet him, take pictures, & all that jazz, but I honestly must say how impressed I was with the spirit that was able to fill the room from his singing. I just felt so much of my father in Heavens love. This week was just a little bit rough and during the devotional we talked about
Ether 12:27 in the Book of Mormon which says " 27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them."

I've just truly come to realize that sometimes the mission gets difficult and discouraging because the closer we get to Christ, the more we're able to see like him. To see just how chaotic and not unified the world is around us. I realized how much my mission has changed the perspective that I have on so much of the world... I can hardly express it in proper wording. I'm just a changed person inside. ♥
I attached a pretty funny picture of what the typical asian motorcoach large group tours are like on temple square. This is real life. It actually happened!!! hahahah hysterical.
This woman told me the other day:
"We travel a lot & We've never been to a place where there are so many nice people. It really must be because God lives in your hearts"
