Not Just "Another" Church 10/20/13

Helllo there everyone!! :D :D :D
I am attaching the picture of our zone with David Archuleta and also a picture of Juan Antonio & Juan Carlos's baptism!!!! I sent the one of the elders who baptized them and also the  temple square sister from Hong Kong is the one who initially contacted Juan Carlos on Temple Square (w another sister from the Philippines who is outbound right now). :)
Such a wonderful wonderful week. I've been so excited all week long to send this email. first and foremost i LOVE my Savior, Jesus Christ!! Kind of ridiculous, right before p-day started i took a spanish tour with a girl who's from mexico living with an american lady (who brings people here to argue with us.. #getalife!) -- super anti... gave us materials and everything. Totally took the spirit away but then I just got emails from all of my favorite people this week and i officially have the spirit with me again. :) So I'm a happy camper now. Which all goes along with what I want to talk about today: Happiness.
I've been realizing just how frequently I've been waking up in the morning thinking... "Wow, I'm just so happy." -- I think... happy with my life, happy for my bed, happy for Jesus Christ and his teachings and the atonement of my savior. I'm just so naturally happy. There is absolutely nothing that fills my heart more than being able to teach people about Jesus Christ, His Church, and how this gospel LITERALLY changes lives. It changed mine -- thats for sure! I was thinking how this Thursday, October 23rd, will be my 4 YEAR BAPTISM ANNIVERSARY!!! yayayyy!! I showed my pictures to the Juan's and they were so happy. It was amazing to me because Juan Antonio told me (in spanish) "I didn't think that you would be so right about this. I have never felt this way in my whole life." He continued thanking me for not giving up on him and pushing and encouraging him in the most positive way because he never saw this happening. The spirit at the baptism was incredible and really just helped me relive my own. 4 years... still can't believe that. This week has been so full of such good things. Miracles everywhere.
I think Saturday was one of my favorite days. Starting off because in the morning some sisters got to skype their baptism of a Filipino in Houston, Texas that they met on mormon.org chat. Well, in case you may have forgotten.. sister Diaz got her call there and she is serving in that guys ward and I got to see her!!!!!! Hurrrraay!! Seriously, it was like seeing family. (not as good, but almost... haha.)
Then we took a tour that started at the flagpole.. about 16 people were there and it was such an awesome lesson/"tour". We took them into one of the buildings after explaining the Temple and it was like heaven on earth. They were all super nice (which is rare, mind you..) and asking super respectful, sincere questions, and I love just love teaching and answering so it works perfecctlyyy! haha. Anyways, so most awesome part was that I felt like I literally was testifying of the book of mormon like I've never had before in my life. It nourished my spirit more than any one elses I'm almost positive. At the end we asked who would like a Book of Mormon and a few people raised their hands, so we were going to the south visitors center to get some and invited everyone who wanted one to follow us. I get there, look behind the desk and then looked up to see 14 people standing in front of the desk waiting to receive a copy. My eyes literally teared up and my heart sunk to the floor in gratitude. I refuse to give out a Book of Mormon unless the people who read it tell me they will pray to know if it is true and if Christ's original church has been restored and those people will now leave temple square KNOWING that I have a strong testimony of my Savior and His Church. It is not just "another" church because it has SO MUCH more information. Its not just another random persons interpretation of scripture, but it is literally lead today by the Lord, Himself through a living Prophet and apostles who are special witnesses of our savior Jesus Christ. We have another witness, testimony, testament of Jesus Christ. A book of scripture that compliments and enriches the Bible. People who refuse to read it have no idea what kind of happiness would come into their life. Happiness. Peace. Joy. --fruit of the spirit--
OOOOH!! Satan is super funny. So, yesterday two of my investigators from the Congo came to Temple Square. One is praying for a baptism date and the other one has divulged himself in all these internet articles online about all this stuff about the church that I've learned through proper research is NOT true. So, I left the lesson all irritable and frustrated because I was confused for a minute and then we went online, found the truth about stuff and then my testimony was like 10x stronger than it had previously been. I have fully come to understand why people make up anti-material... and I've realized I'm thankful for it. I honestly know that my testimony is strengthened so much more when I realize there are answers to EVERY one of our questions. We just need to be patient & have trust and faith in our Savior. For real. Rock solid testimony -- the church is true & I just can't deny it.
Well, that's all I've got for you today. Just please everyone. Life is too short to be sad, trust in the Lord, pray, read the scriptures & everything will be celestial.

I love you SOOOO much!!! ♥
Love,
Sister Corina Selene Cuevas

p.s. So i got to go to the chiropractor this week. That was cool. Not very helpful. But it was an fun experience. I officially think I'm doomed.. hahah. :)
