Hiii everyone!
I can hardly believe just how quickly the time is passing. It is absolutely blowing me away!
I think one of the coolest parts about this last transfer is just how much fruit I am able to see from the work that has been done. I am amazed at everything going on. My heart is just consistently filled with an immeasurable about of joy..
Some pretty awesome highlights -- Tanner got to go to the temple yesterday to do baptisms!!!! He LOVED it and just wants to keep going. Which makes me so happy for him. The elders who taught us with him went too.. it was a very special time. & even more special than just doing baptisms... Stephen (whos year mark was november 2nd) went through the temple on the 15th to make higher promises with God in the Temple!!! He received his endowment and we got to go with him!! Talk about a special day. All he kept saying when we were in the Celestial Room was "It just makes sense. It is so beautiful" and also "There is such a different special spirit in here" ♥ Seriously. SO COOL!
On top of that, Juan Antonio had a heart to heart with us two days ago. He was just telling us about his conversion and how he has just changed to be such a completely different person than before. He was telling us all these things he used to do and what he used to be like, and then he told me that he never expected this much to come out of our invitation to come to Temple Square. He thanked me personally for being so insistent and giving him confidence in the changes he was making to his life. I just really felt so humbled because I'm amazed at how much the Atonement can transform people. Seriously, Jesus Christ has so much power to make us who we never before thought we could become.
In fact, this morning I was reading this scripture in 16th chapter of the book of John that reads
"33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."

Jesus Christ really has overcome the world. We have all the reason to be happy and to just let it soak in. Just soak it in ♥♥
Some exciting things coming up!! Jerry is getting baptized THIS WEEKEND!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!! Sooo forever I have taught this man. MY WHOLE MISSION. & It literally is set. He asked me to give one of the talks and everything. I am completely beyond excited for him to FINALLY put his spiritual confirmations and guidance above the thoughts of his family and friends. Sometimes, the Lord is speaking to us but we have to trust him if we ask him for guidance. Hahaha, Jerry actually even told me that the times that he wanted to give up he just knew if he wanted to stop meeting with missionaries and learning about the church, he just had to break contact with ME.... -__- I was like... ok..? What do you mean? & He's like " Sister Cuevas, you just have a gift for teaching. If i don't ask your knowledge on something and I just give up, I know I haven't tried everything I could to get an answer." :) So cute.
Speaking of miracles!! This MORNING this Golden Golden GOLDEN person came on mormon.org chat. Completely ready to learn and be baptized. Initially asking what he needed to do to become a missionary. His name is Kevin and he is from Guatemala. He's 20 years old :) Recently, multiple members of his family have been getting baptized but he hasn't been able to learn the lessons because he is always away at work or school so when we told him we could call him and teach him more he got so excited -- HURRAY for the Temple Square mission!! Anyways, I told him he could be a missionary and asked him what was holding him back from being baptized, we talked and resolved some of his concerns and committed him to prepare for baptism on the 29th of november. If that is not a miracle, I'm not sure what is!!! Coolest thing of my life. He was telling us that for 2 years he was really involved with drinking, partying, doing what he wanted, ran away from home, etc. but that now he feels such a strong conviction in his heart that he wants to give up 2 more years of his live serving God and letting him live to this point of his life. We are SO excited.
So, bottom line is that- the miracles just keep coming & I hope they dont stop! They keep me busy and concentrated and I'm just a happy camper. So grateful for the Lord.
I hope you are all doing do wonderfully great and that you just keep staying good. Remember there are always things we can do to change and be better people. Pray pray pray.
Love ♥
Sister Corina Selene Cuevas
